In his address opening the 2025/2026 academic year, Rector Prof. Andrzej Nowak outlined a bold strategic vision for the next five years, emphasizing digital transformation, carbon neutrality, and deeper integration with the European business sector.
Looking Ahead to 2030
"We are approaching our 10th anniversary as a university," Prof. Nowak told the assembly of students, faculty, and dignitaries. "What we have achieved in a decade takes others a century. But we cannot rest. The world is changing faster than ever."
The Rector announced three key initiatives:
- Campus 2.0: Complete digitalization of administrative services by 2027.
- Green Pledge: Achieving net-zero carbon emissions on campus by 2030 through solar energy and smart building management.
- Industry Alliance: Establishing a Business Advisory Board for every faculty to ensure curricula match market needs.
