The Faculty of Medicine at LAC has officially unveiled its expanded Medical Simulation Center. The new wing features state-of-the-art VR surgical training stations, a high-fidelity mock Intensive Care Unit, and an ambulance simulator.
Bridging Theory and Practice
The expansion adds 500 square meters of training space dedicated to emergency medicine and surgical skills. With the new equipment, students can perform complex procedures in a risk-free virtual environment before entering a real operating theater.
"Simulation is the future of medical education," stated Dr. Elena Rossi, Head of Clinical Education. "Our students can now practice intubation, laparoscopy, and advanced life support scenarios hundreds of times until they achieve perfection."
Investment in Quality
The project, valued at 12 million PLN, was co-financed by the European Union Funds. It reinforces LAC's position as a leader in modern medical training in Poland.
